Liquid Voice co-sponsor gala dinner

08 April 2008

Members of Yorkshire's financial services community gathered to raise money at a gala charity dinner in Leeds - and to show that tough times are no barrier to generosity.

The event - a special gathering of the Leeds Insurance Institute - aimed to raise thousands of pounds for The Yorkshire Cancer Centre and Insurance Charities. The black-tie-and-ballgown bash, at Leeds Hilton Hotel, culminated in a charity auction including autographed Liverpool FC memorabilia (Stephen Gerrard's shorts!)

Call recording company Liquid Voice, co-sponsor of the charity gala, is an active supporter of community events and its directors are happy to devote time and money to fund-raising - crucially important for charities in tough economic times.

"When it comes to giving back to society we try to do what we can, when we can and how we can," says Chris Berry, a director of Leeds-based Liquid Voice. "Everyone in our company was born and raised in Yorkshire, a place that has given us a lot in life. The least we can do is put a little something back".
